Trip to the Fire Station

We have been learning about 'People Who Help Us' in Aistear and we were very lucky to get to visit the Fire Station in town! We were very excited to get the bus  and we were met by the firemen who showed us lots of cool things!  The boys got to see how the 'Jaws of Life' work and how the firemen not only put out fires but help people in many different ways. The boys even got a turn to use the hose! 

The boys had great questions for the firefighters and even teacher dressed up as a firefighter!! We had lots of fun!!
