Music
Music has always played an important part in our school. The choir is formed from 3 -6th classes. They sing at first communion and other important church gatherings. The also sing at our social evening in June, and at our end of year Mass in the school. At Christmas they visit the old age pensioners in Moorehall Lodge and perform for them.

Recently Monastery school choir visited the Helix and sang with the Crossborder Orchestra in a musical extravaganza which incorporated songs from ABBA and the musical Hairspray. Many parents joined with us on the evening for this extremely enjoyable and memorable event.
