The Farm

The boys were hard at work as farmers in our farm for Aistear. We were doing lots of jobs such as milking the cows and harvesting the crops. We made vegetables with playdough and we even got to plant our own herbs with Philip! We were very excited when we got to gather them in June and take some home!

We also got to look at the parts of a flower and we learned what plants need to grow. We did an experiment to see how water travels from the roots to the leaves and we were amazed to see how the celery turned red!!
