Science Week Fun
This week we celebrated Science Week in Monastery National School! The boys and girls in junior infants had a wonderful time working as scientists and conducting lots of fun experiments.
On Monday, they explored what happened to white flowers when they were put in different coloured water.
On Tuesday, they had so much fun exploring what would happen if they stood on balloons.
On Wednesday, the little scientists were blown away when they saw what happens when warm water mixes with skittles.
On Thursday, we did the mentos and coke experiment, which caused huge excitement (and an even bigger mess!)
And finally on Friday, the children explored how to make volcanic eruptions using baking soda and vinegar!
A fun-filled week of Science in junior infants!
