Place Value Practice
In Senior Infants, we have been using a variety of place value resources to help make our math's learning fun and engaging. By working with hands-on materials, the children can see, touch, and explore numbers in a concrete way, which helps them understand how numbers are made. These activities bring our learning to life and support children in developing their understanding of number. We have also been using our interactive board to draw and clearly show numbers represented through place value. Although we have only been working with numbers up to 20, our teacher challenged us with some tricky questions using numbers such as 44 and 68, and we were able to show these using our resources too! 😊
