Our visit to Ardee Library
On Tuesday we had an incredible trip to the library in Ardee. After learning about the library in class, many of the children shared that they had never visited one before, so we decided it would be a lovely idea to take a trip together and explore it. We walked from school on a gorgeous sunny morning and were very excited when we arrived. At the library we visited the wonderful children’s corner, where there were fantastic sensory resources and so many beautiful picture books to look through. Miss O’Malley read us a story called Rover from a big picture book, which everyone really enjoyed. Before we left, the library very kindly gave every child a special gift, their own storybook to keep and bring home. How lucky we are to have had such a special day!
