Our Senior Infants class had a fantastic time creating their very own play dough monsters this week! Each child used their imagination to sculpt unique and colorful creatures, carefully shaping arms, legs, and funny features using their hands and a variety of tools. This activity was not only a creative outlet but also a great way to strengthen fine motor skills, as the children pinched, rolled, and molded the dough with growing control and precision. The highlight for many was adding the finishing touches, goggly eyes! Some monsters had one enormous eye, while others had five or more, wobbling hilariously as their heads were tilted. The classroom was full of smiles as the children showed off their wacky, wonderful creations.
