Mini-beast hunt
29th Apr 2026
Our Senior Infant class had a wonderful afternoon exploring the school grounds on a minibeast hunt. With the sun shining brightly, we set off in small groups, carefully searching under stones, in the grass, and around the trees. We were excited to discover all sorts of tiny creatures, including wriggly worms, shiny beetles, and busy wood lice. The children were fascinated watching how the minibeasts moved and learning about where they like to live. It was a fun and hands-on way to explore nature, and everyone enjoyed being outside in the warm sunshine while discovering the amazing world of minibeasts right on our doorstep.
