Hands-on Maths in Senior Infants
24th Sep 2025
In Senior Infants, we have been exploring practical maths by learning all about our numbers to 10. We have been making sets of objects to match each number, which helps us see how numbers are made up and compare which groups are bigger or smaller. Using ten frames has made our learning even more fun, as we can clearly see how numbers fit together and begin to notice patterns, like how five and five make ten or how numbers can be built in different ways. These hands-on activities help us understand numbers more clearly and build a strong foundation for adding, subtracting, and problem-solving in the future.
