We have been working really hard on our independent writing in Senior Infants and we decided as a reward we would make something, eat it and then write all about it!
We used puff pastry to make some delicious chocolate filled treats. Everyone loved the process of getting involved, going to the staff room to use the oven and of course the eating part was lots of fun too.
Afterwards, we were able to create some excellent instructional writing pieces explaining all of the steps we took during our cooking lesson.
Chocolate covered happy faces all around!
