For many years Monastery NS has a proud tradition of tin whistle playing and every year our pupils would perform at special school events including First Holy Communion and Confirmation. This tradition was founded by a gifted former teacher Mr Bartle Woods who passed away in November 2019. This tradition continues today under the tuition of teachers Ms Corr and Ms Maguire.
